2. Beneath Driver Lane
Take a turn down the alley way and you will come across this gem! Beneath Driver Lane offers an extensive list of whiskies ranging from Japanese, Asian, Irish and Australian heritage. Once you finish your quota of whisky, you can enjoy their famous cocktails, including martinis that are made with liquid nitrogen. If you are feeling peckish they also serve delicious, honest French bar food served through to 3am, 7 days a week.

3. Boilermaker House
One of our favourites, Biolermaker House is a blues filled temple devoted to malt whisky, craft beer and delicious cocktails. With over 900 whiskies and an ever rotating tap list, this is a 'must do' for Melbourne whisky lovers. There dinner menu is designed with boozing in mind and includes a custom built cheese and charcuterie fridge. Oh, did we mention the great music?

4. The Elysian Whisky Bar
The Elysian Whisky Bar is a small and cosy whisky and cocktail bar located on the lower end of Brunswick Street in Fitzroy. About 350 bottles of rare and interesting whiskies on the shelves, with a focus on independent bottlings from around the world. Playing jazz and old classics most nights, drop by to enjoy a relaxing night with some great drinks. If whisky is not your drink of choice, fear not, they also offer some great seasonal fruits and classic cocktails, wines, and a small rotating list of beers.

5. The Woods Of Windsor
Looking for something a little out of the ordinary? This speakeasy bar is not your average watering hole. The Woods of Windsor has over 80 whiskies to choose from, an extensive cocktail list and a unique atmosphere to match.
